ART I-A ART/DESIGN (STUDIO) FOR IB #0114840 The purpose of this course is to produce personal visual statements that search for a synthesis of aesthetic values and functional requirements and to understand the complex language of visual symbols which form part of every culture.

ART II-A ART/DESIGN (STUDIO) FOR IB #0114850 The purpose of this course is to further produce personal visual statements that search for a synthesis of aesthetic values and functional requirements and to understand the complex language of visual symbols which form part of every culture.

ART 2D #0104300 - Art/2-D The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop fundamental perceptual, observational, and compositional skills necessary to communicate a range of subject matter, symbols, ideas, and concepts using knowledge of two-dimensional art and painting media, processes, and techniques.

DRAWING & PAINTING I #0104320 – Drawing/Painting I The Drawing & Painting program provides students with experience in design and composition in drawing and painting, including its symbolic use in aesthetic expression, as well as the history of art as it relates to understanding of design and composition.

SCULPTURE I #0111310 — Sculpture I The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop basic skills in the use of sculpture media, design, processes, and techniques. Emphasis shall be placed on the use of visual, spatial, and compositional concepts to communicate a range of ideas.

PORTFOLIO ART I-III #0109310 – Portfolio Art I; #0109320 – Portfolio Art II; #0109330 – Portfolio Art III. The purpose of this course is to give the students an introduction to the comprehension and understanding of quality, concentration, and breadth of art.

Some course offereings are lab oriented and utilize consumable materials for student use. These courses may require a donation fee for participation.
