Box Tops for Education: Please continue to save the pink General Mills box top coupons over the summer. Our school receives ten cents for each one you submit. The ones collected during the summer months will purchase additional equipment for the science department’s electricity lab. |

Algebra Summer Work: If you are being placed in Algebra Honors (7th or 8th) or Algebra 1 (8th only), you will have summer homework. This is not optional, it is mandatory work! These courses count for High School credit and to be successful, you need to keep and improve your math skills over the summer. Please pace yourself and do a bit of math each week. These summer packets must be completed and returned when you come back in August. If you need help, Oslo has Algebra tutoring on three dates: June 11, July 7, and August 5, from 8:00 to 12:00. Questions? Ask your math teacher! |

Dear, Students, Parents, Teachers, & Staff: It is with great pleasure that I announce that we are nearing the end of another school year. I have been impressed by the creativity and dedication that you all have displayed. As you already know, the ending of the school year is just as busy as the beginning, with this I ask for your cooperation in maintaining our everyday R.O.A.R. standards. I know to some of you it has been like a story book consisting of the good, bad, happy, & the sad. I wish our Graduating students the very best in everything and hope that any obstacle that they may encounter comes to them with great poise. With this I bid everyone a well, healthy, & enjoyable summer. Sincerely, Ms. Deborah Long

The Unified Dress code: is pending for the beginning of the school year because of a lack of voter participation. Only 59 parents showed up to vote on May 28th due to inclement weather. There will be another vote on the Unified Dress code during Orientation, August 20th and 21st . At the conclusion of that vote, a determination will be made as to whether or not to implement Unified Dress code in January 2010. Thank you again for your continued support to educate your children and prepare them to be contributing members of their society. |
